Below we have mentioned 3 basic features a copier machine should have. Take a look.
- Auto-paper selection
With the help of this feature the copier selects the appropriate size of the copy paper that matches with the original paper. This means the operator will not have to select the appropriate size every time. However, this will work only on a selective document feeder which comes with the auto-paper description by the notation ‘Optional with feeder’.
This enables two-sided copying. There are three ways of doing it; manually which is the slowest, semiautomatic 1:2 which reduces the time to a certain extent, and automatic 2:2 which is the fastest and the most efficient.
- Paper tray
Every copier needs a tray where the output is collected. If on a daily basis you produce high volumes of prints, then your tray should be sturdy enough to hold the load. Some machines have different trays for different sizes of paper.
