Document Solutions is looking for a motivated, self-starting individual to join our team. The candidate must have experience working in the IT field, possess the ability to learn new technologies, and the ability to work in a team environment. Primary duties are to work directly with customers, and Level 1 Technicians, to resolve all IT service tickets. Must have a customer friendly attitude, good written / oral communication skills, and the ability to multi task in this fast paced, customer driven environment. Must be hard working, customer oriented, and possess a clean driving record.

As a Level 2 / Level 3 IT Technician, your primarily responsibilities include remote support for workstations, servers, firewalls, routers, and communicating with the customer throughout the process. The candidate must be able to perform a wide variety of IT support issues, ranging from desktop support, to complex server and network issues.

– Act as the point of contact to customers for ticket escalations
– Handle ticket escalations ranging from server support, network issues, and software installation
– Coordinate and schedule IT support tickets to ensure maximum utilization of billable resources
– Ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server and related issues
– Ability to implement and troubleshoot spam filters, O365, Microsoft Exchange, and associated email solutions
– Troubleshoot and resolve firewall, router, and other network related issues
– Perform on-site installations / repairs as necessary
– Familiar with business-class network technologies such as TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, and QoS
– Familiar with Microsoft Server technologies such as Active Directory, Hyper-V, Exchange, and SQL


Qualified candidates will have:

  • A clean NJ Driver’s license
  • At least 1 year of MSP support experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems / Office Applications / Ethernet Networking
  • Ability to troubleshoot IT issues quickly and efficiently
  • Be able to stay current with ever-changing technology and IT solutions
  • Ability to meet daily goals
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic positive attitude
  • Self-motivation with strong initiative to succeed
  • IT Certification is a plug (Microsoft, Azure, Cisco, etc)
