We’re growing and are looking for additional Support Personnel to join our winning team! In this role you will:

 

Build a career, not a job.  You will be responsible to perform site surveys. Configure new and existing clients for hosted PBX, PRI, SIP trunks and hosted contact center solutions in the Intermedia Portal; and configure and test Polycom, Yealink IP phones, ATA’s, other SIP endpoints, The candidate must customer orientated, and be proficient with utilizing our ticketing system and be able to track their time on all projects and service calls.  Your will be given lots of opportunity to grow as a valued team player.

 

    Responsibilities include:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the telecom field or in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic understanding of network technologies (such as firewalls, routers, and switches) is beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of telephone features and services.
  • Working knowledge on using desktop applications and instructing customers how to use our products.
  • Pre-build Configurations and Turn-up VoIP products.
  • Oversees the cable runs and pulls, programming’s equipment and following industry standards while coordinating with contractors.
  • Test potential VoIP products and document suitability at the direction of the Director of VoIP
  • Maintains and improves service by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Able to install and mount equipment
  • Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards and legal regulations.
  • Knowledge of legacy PBX and associated technologies is a plus
  • Ability to work and communicate with our in-house IT team, for advanced network troubleshooting
  • Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards and legal regulations.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Actively participates in training and personal career development.
  • Other duties as assigned.
